FAQ

Custom hoodie manufacturing for US brands. MOQ 30 pieces total per style, split inside that 30 — not 30 per colour or per size. Sample 7–14 days, bulk 15–25 days, DDP to USA. Below are direct answers to the questions buyers ask us most, grouped by topic.

MOQ & Ordering

1. What is the minimum order? — MOQ 30 pieces total per style. Sizes and colours can be split inside that 30, so a small brand, club or team can start without committing to hundreds of units.

2. Can I mix sizes and colours in one order? — Yes, inside the 30-piece total per style. You can spread the 30 across the sizes and colours your customers actually buy, rather than ordering 30 of each size or colour.

3. Can I order only 30 pieces to test a design? — Yes, that is exactly what the MOQ is for. A 30-piece first run lets you test a design in the real market, learn what sells, and reorder the winners.

4. Do you accept small startups, or only big brands? — Both. Startups, clubs, schools and established brands all order at the same MOQ 30 total per style, and new brands get the same sample and quality process as larger orders.

5. How do I start an order? — Send a quote request with your design, fabric idea, quantity and timeline. We reply with a quotation, fabric and GSM options, and a clear next step before any production work begins.

6. Is there a minimum per colour? — No, there is no 30-per-colour rule. Colours are split inside the 30-piece total per style, so two colourways can share one small run.

7. Can I reorder the same design later? — Yes, reorders use the approved sample and tech pack. Keeping the same specification means a repeat order matches the first run in fit, fabric and decoration.

Pricing & Payment

8. How is the price calculated? — By fabric, GSM, style, decoration (print/embroidery), labels/packaging and quantity. Heavier fabrics and more complex decoration usually cost more than lighter fleece and simple printing, while larger quantities usually lower the cost per piece.

9. Do you give a clear quote before production? — Yes, you approve the quotation before sample and bulk work. The quote states what is included, so you can compare options and confirm the specification before committing.

10. Are there hidden costs? — No, the quote covers the agreed fabric, decoration, labels, packing and shipping terms. If anything would change the cost, it is confirmed with you before production, not added afterwards.

11. What payment terms do you offer? — Payment terms are agreed at quotation stage, before production starts. They are confirmed in your written quote, so you know what is due and when before the sample is made.

12. Is shipping to the USA included? — DDP shipping to the USA is planned in the quote, as agreed. Under a DDP plan, duties and delivery to the United States are included in the arrangement we agree with you.

Samples

13. How long does a sample take? — Samples take 7–14 days. Use the sample to check fit, fabric, colour, print and embroidery before bulk production starts, especially on a first order.

14. Can I change the sample before bulk? — Yes, approve fit, fabric and details before bulk production starts. Changes are made at the sample stage, so the bulk run matches what you signed off.

15. Do I need a tech pack for a sample? — A tech pack helps, but we can help you build one if you do not have it yet. Measurements, fabric, colours and decoration placement can be worked out from your design and reference photos.

16. What does a sample include? — The chosen fabric, GSM, fit, decoration and labels for approval. It is made to the same specification as the bulk order, so it is a true check of the final garment.

Fabric & GSM

17. What fabrics do you use? — Cotton fleece, French terry, cotton-poly blends and other hoodie fabrics, chosen for climate and price. Cotton fleece has a soft brushed inside that traps warmth, while French terry is lighter, with a looped inside that breathes better.

18. What GSM range do you offer? — From lightweight 180 GSM up to heavyweight 400+ GSM fleece and French terry. Lightweight suits mild weather and layering, everyday 280–320 GSM suits most brands, and 400+ GSM suits winter and premium feel.

19. Which GSM is best for winter? — 400+ GSM heavyweight fleece or French terry for cold weather. Heavyweight fabric holds its shape, feels substantial in the hand, and gives the warmth a winter hoodie needs.

20. Which GSM is best for mild weather? — 280–320 GSM fleece or French terry for everyday wear. This everyday range works across seasons for most brands, and French terry in this range is a good choice for milder weather and indoor wear.

21. Can I choose organic cotton? — Yes, organic cotton options can be discussed at quotation stage. Tell us your fabric preference in the quote request and we will confirm suitable options for your design and budget.

22. What GSM is used for winter wear? — 400+ GSM fleece and French terry for cold-weather pieces. Winter wear, including heavyweight hoodies, fleece jackets, crewnecks and sweatshirts, is built around this heavyweight range.

Hoodie Styles

23. What hoodie styles do you make? — Pullover, zip-up, oversized, heavyweight, cropped, and zip-up with pocket hoodies, plus crewneck sweatshirts. Each style can be made to your measurements and tech pack, with your print, embroidery and labels.

24. Do you make oversized hoodies? — Yes, oversized and heavyweight styles are a core product. Oversized hoodies use a relaxed, dropped-shoulder fit with a heavier drape and longer body, made in 320–400+ GSM fleece.

25. Do you make cropped hoodies? — Yes, cropped styles are available. Cropped hoodies have a shorter body and a modern fit, in fleece or French terry at 280–320 GSM, and suit womenswear, dance and athleisure brands.

26. Do you make crewneck sweatshirts? — Yes, crewnecks are made alongside hoodies. A crewneck has no hood and gives a clean, classic sweatshirt option in fleece or French terry at 280–400 GSM, for brands that want a hoodie collection plus a simpler sweatshirt.

27. Can I customise the hood, pocket and cuffs? — Yes, hood style, kangaroo or zip pockets, cuffs and drawstrings can be customised. Custom zips, hoods and drawstrings are part of the zip-up service, and pocket style can be chosen to suit the design.

28. Do you make winter wear besides hoodies? — Yes, heavyweight hoodies, fleece jackets, crewnecks and sweatshirts. Winter wear is made in 400+ GSM fleece and French terry for cold weather, at the same MOQ 30 total per style.

Printing, Embroidery & Labels

29. What decoration methods do you offer? — Screen printing, embroidery and puff print, chosen for design and fabric. Print suits large graphics and bold slogans, while embroidery suits small, durable marks, and puff print adds a raised texture.

30. Can I add my own labels? — Yes, private label, custom woven labels, tags and packaging are available. Your brand name goes inside the hoodie, not ours, with woven labels, printed neck labels and hangtags to your specification.

31. Can you print my logo? — Yes, send your artwork with the quote request. We advise on placement, size and method for the best result on your chosen fabric and GSM.

32. Is embroidery better than print for small logos? — Embroidery suits small, durable logos; print suits large graphics. We advise per design, because fabric, logo size and wash durability all affect which method holds up best.

Tech Pack

33. What is a tech pack? — A specification sheet: measurements, fabric, colours, construction and decoration details. It tells the factory exactly what to make, so the sample and the bulk run match your design.

34. I have no tech pack — can you still make my hoodie? — Yes, we help you build one from your design and reference photos. We work through measurements, fabric choice, colours and decoration placement before anything goes into production.

35. What should I send with my quote request? — Design/artwork, style, fabric idea, colours, sizes and quantity, if you have them. Even a sketch or a reference hoodie is enough to start, and we help turn it into a specification the factory can follow.

Sizing & Colours

36. What sizes do you make? — Standard US sizes, split inside the MOQ 30 total per style. You do not need 30 of one size: the 30 pieces are a total per style, spread across the sizes you need.

37. Can I use custom measurements? — Yes, if you provide a size chart or tech pack. Custom measurements let a brand match its own fit, and the sample stage is where that fit is checked before bulk.

38. How many colours can I choose? — Colours can be split inside the 30-piece total per style. A small run can therefore include two colourways, as long as the total per style reaches 30 pieces.

Lead Times

39. How long is bulk production? — Bulk takes 15–25 days after sample approval. Production includes quality checks at every stage, and the exact time depends on quantity and decoration.

40. What is the total time from sample to delivery? — Sample 7–14 days + bulk 15–25 days + shipping time, as agreed. Plan backwards from the date you need the hoodies, and tell us that date when you request a quote.

41. Can you handle urgent orders? — Tell us your deadline at quotation stage; we confirm what is possible before you commit. If a date cannot be met, we say so before you approve the sample, rather than after.

Shipping & DDP

42. Do you ship to the USA? — Yes, DDP to the United States. DDP shipping is planned in the quote, as agreed, so duties and delivery are included in the arrangement we agree with you.

43. Which countries do you serve? — 25+ countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Europe. See the Countries Served page for the full list of country pages, each with fabric and ordering advice for that market.

44. What does DDP mean? — Delivered Duty Paid: duties and delivery are included in the agreed plan, so you do not handle customs separately on arrival. Exact arrangements depend on the order and are confirmed when you request a quote.

Quality & QC

45. How do you check quality? — Quality checks from cutting to packing, so bulk matches the approved sample. Checks at each stage catch fabric, stitching and decoration issues before the order ships.

46. What if bulk does not match the sample? — Raise it before shipment; quality is checked at each stage to prevent this. The sample is the agreed standard, and final inspection compares the bulk run against it.

47. Do you do a final inspection? — Yes, final inspection and packing checks are part of the process. Final inspection covers fit, fabric, decoration and packing, including private labels and brand packaging.

Private Label

48. Can I sell under my own brand name? — Yes, private label manufacturing is the core service. Your labels, tags and packaging carry your brand, and we manufacture to your specification without putting our name on the garment.

49. Do you help with packaging? — Yes, custom labels, tags and packaging are available. Individual polybagging, size labelling and private-label packaging can be discussed at quote stage.

Starting a Hoodie Brand

50. I am starting a hoodie brand from zero — where do I start? — Send your idea and quantity; we help with tech pack, sample and a 30-piece first order. Start with one style, one fabric weight and a clear design, then use the sample to confirm fit and quality before scaling.

School, College & University Orders

51. Do you make hoodies for schools, colleges and clubs? — Yes, class merch, club merch, team warm-ups and graduation merch. Schools, colleges, universities, clubs and teams can order pullover, zip-up and crewneck styles with their crest, name or design.

52. What is the MOQ for a school or club order? — The same MOQ 30 total per style, split by size and colour. A class or club can cover its real member sizes within one 30-piece order, without ordering 30 of each size.

53. Can different club members choose different sizes? — Yes, sizes can be split inside the 30-piece total. Collect your members’ sizes first, then split the order across them, and reorders use the approved sample for the same fit.
